Play Anywhere® features are modular so you can select either the complete specific customer offering – our Cloud InABox package – or individual elements to meet your requirements.
The six modules of the Play Anywhere® platform are:
- A registry of a consumer’s media (music, video, book, games) collection and a record of their devices approved for access
- A system to route a legal copy of the consumer’s content from the Cloud via a digital service provider (DSP) or content aggregator, rather than from a user’s PC
- A system to track the playback of content routed from legal content aggregators to end-user devices.
- A clearinghouse to disburse access fees (in the form of revenue from advertising, bundling by service providers, or direct consumer-paid fees)
- Access through both web and device applications
- Post-acquisition licenses with content owners
